As we fall deeper into Fall and wander around October darkness, people start wearing black more to mourn the loss of Summer and the fading of their tans. But wearing all black seems so passé, like you’re some moody New Yorker who lives for this time of year. Is there a sophisticated variation of your cool weather blacks? Yes, it’s dazzle camo.
Spiders are very intimidating creatures—especially tarantulas. Would it help any if they were pretty? Probably not. If their aesthetic were enhanced or even beautified, there likely wouldn’t be a surge in their popularity—but you should still be aware of tarantulas that are indeed quite sexy.
The best part of a parking lot are the miniature oil slicks that are gasoline puddles. They are oozing rainbows flattened onto the ground, a fusion of dark street with radiating pastels whose light absorbency turns them to deep jewels. The colors are harmonious and powerful, worthy of guiding a personal aesthetic: let this be our color of the moment.
