The Vehicle: This is a very non-Honda car. It is also a very rare Honda. If you want a big ass hybrid of an SUV with a hatchback, do you think of a Honda? I don’t. I don’t think of any car like that because it’s antithetical (a la, SUV + hatchback). This quest for commercial cars has been my own, shitty Pokémon Go and the Crosstour has been an a common yet elusive Abra to the Civic’s fucking ubiquitous, annoying Pidgey. In any event, this car—in this specific make—is somewhat sleek and seems like…not a Honda. That’s kind of the appeal: it’s an affordable everyman car that feigns luxury. This truly is a rare, unique Pokémon.
Environmental Impact: There’s not a lot found when digging around on this car. The car gets a fairly non-efficient 18.5 gallons, equivalent to 175 pounds of burning coal a fill up. Beyond this, I did found something very interesting: the 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour was ranked one of the “Most Dangerous Trucks of 2011,” revealing both that it is technically in the truck category and bad for the environment. Not only is it not great for the environment but it’s literally dangerous for your wellbeing. Sorry, Crosstour!
How Happy Does This Honda Make Me? Eh. Not too happy. I do like that the design of this car does feel like a really low budget fake Porsche Macan. This car is great at duping people!
