On the twentieth day of Honda Days, Honda gave to me: two Honda Odysseys, one of which had a Menorah atop of it.
Today is the last day of Hanukkah.
I live in a very Jewish neighborhood.
I was biking home from a meeting where a car with a Menorah atop of it sat outside.
I couldn’t take a photo with it because everyone from the meeting would have seen me.
So, I thought about finding another Honda with a Menorah atop of it.
I looked. I couldn’t find one.
So, I posed with a Honda Odyssey.
Then, as I was leaving, a shadow Honda Odyssey from across the street revealed itself – and it had a Menorah atop of it.
But there were people around it.
I took photos from afar, as it passed.
(It’s the white thing atop of it.)
A minor win but, mostly, a conceptual capture.
This outfit features shorts I frequently forget I own, that I still love so much.
• J.Crew light knit sweater.
• Uniqlo t-shirt.
• Hentsch Man shorts.
• RAINS bookbag, l.a.Eyeworks sunglasses, and Reeboks.
What’s funny about these shorts is that I always think the brand that made them is called “Mensch Man.”
What fitting, accidental synergy for Hanukkah.
